Donte Green, 34, was captured in the early afternoon on Saturday, Oct. 12 by city police, FBI, and US Marshals aboard a Greyhound Bus on Russell Street in Baltimore as he was planning to flee, investigators say.

Green is a suspect in multiple armed bank robberies that took place in September and October in the city and in Baltimore County. It was later determined he also had outstanding warrants for aggravated assault and multiple parole violations.

"This significant apprehension highlights the critical collaboration among multiple law enforcement agencies, which was essential to this investigation and the successful capture of Green," a spokesperson from the Baltimore Police Department stated.

Green was served on the outstanding warrants and charged with multiple armed robbery, assault, and theft offenses.

He was processed at the Baltimore County Public Safety Building and then to the Towson Precinct for a bail hearing.
